This webpage is dedicated to the Lorette Metis Local.

Local elections were held on November 28, 2022.  Board memebrs are:  

Chair - re-elected Gisele Ferland; Vice-Chair - elected Diane Burelle;

; and Treasurer - re-elected Andrea Clarke.  On January 22, 2024 Val Tomchak was elected by acclamation to the Secretary position.  We look forward to serving the Local for the next 4 years.

At the local we are dedicated to providing our members and citizens of the MMF about any up and coming events and activities that are happening at the local and MMF.  We strive to keep you informed about the programs offered by the head office and Southeast Regional office and to keep you informed with what is going on in our Nation. 

 

On this website you can find information and forms regarding citizenship and harvester cards, renewal forms, along with other forms and applications.  On the home page if you scroll down you will find QUICK LINKS to some of the most asked about programs, departments, and affiliates.  Under the MMF & OTHER LINKS tab on the home page there is an alphabetical list of MMF departments and some other relevant links for you to check out; this list is not exhaustive so please check out the MMF website for all programs.  On the FORMS tab on the home page you can find some of the applications and forms that the local gets asked the most about.

The Manitoba Metis Federation consists of seven Regions throughout the Province, with each of those Regions being divided into community Locals (in fact, some of the Locals predate the Federation!). The Lorette Metis Local is part of the Southeast Region and has been a Local for over 30 years!
